Universal Disco
This is our current show and has been supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
Upbeat, fun, and suitable for all ages this dynamic show features high level hula hoops, aerials, dance and comedy with a soundtrack that will get anyone in the party mood!
The Universal Disco is highly visual with no or limited text, transcending language barriers.
The Universal Disco has versions of varying lengths and also offers pre-show roving/crowd gathering entertainment, including a roving DJ on segway and hula hoop workshop.
We also offer community engagement projects which can be combined with the performance.
This project has also been developed in partnership with Brisbane Powerhouse, and supported through partnerships with Vulcana Women's Circus, Flipside Circus and SAE Qantm Creative Institute.
Artists involved in this project include Lisa Fa'alafi, Neridah Waters, Bianca Mackail, Maryke Del Costello, Nerida Matthaei, Clint Bolster, Chelsea McGuffin, Freddy Komp, Peter Nelson and Frans Vogels.
